Does/has anyone have/had an SPL amp?

I have a SPL phantom monoblock 2000 watt amp... Has anyone had any experience with this amp? I haven't hooked it up yet and I was wondering if it is a quality amp? Or has anyone had a higher end SPL? How was it if so!

My friend had some SPL amps subs and speakers. dont know what model though. He thought they were good. But he doesnt really know good. It's probably overrated dont know how much. SPL is one of those brands that you will find at pawn shops and flea markets along with pyramid and other brands like that and generally are not the best products. But if you already have it you could give it a try or sell it.

Honestly - it's probably OK.

SPL is a sibling of Power Acoustik, who has had some respectable class D's the last couple of years. The SPL "phantom's" probably aren't the SAME board, but I would think they're at least similar.

The only model from that line that will ACTUALLY do 2000w is the 3400d. If you have the 2000d you'll probably get around 1000w out of it.

Ya I do have a 2000d ... it says it will hit 1200 or 1400 rms at 1ohm im not too sure... I am going to sell it on ebay probably... from all the bad feedback im getting from here =//

The obvious choice for the subs would be the AQ1200d

There are literally hundreds of options for a decent 100x2 amp.
