Every were I go I here mixed opinions on audiobahn. Some people say its good, some people say it suxs. I need to know the god honest truth. I need people who have had audiobahn products to let me know if they are any good, or if they really sux. I was at a car audio store, and the guy behind the counter said, "anything chrome suxs". but he also had never heard of ed, or even a shredder amp. so i wasn't sure if i should trust him. but i have been thinking about getting two ultra excursion 15's. Could people who have actually owned something audiobahn, or have atleast heard it in a friends car respond and let me know. Thanks guys for your help.

In terms of subs....they don't ****...of course they aren't amazing or mind-blowing, but if you love SPL and aren't really focused on SQ, then they'll get the job done very nicely for ya. How much would you be paying for the 15s?

I've never been amazed by audiobahns but they are simply an SPL sub. I dont care what anyone says, they get loud. Some models get sloppy loud, but the majority can put up some fair numbers. My ***** about audiobahn is everyone has them because they are cheap as shit.

THe ultra series is actually quite potent for their price, depending of course on how much you pay for them. As long as you aren't seeking any sort of SQ then go for it.

259 each. from justaudiobahn.com.

Basically, if you don't give two shits about sound quality, Audiobahn is a great brand for you ...
ok coo, i guess we have all came to a general consensus that audiobahn suxs d***. Can anyone give me some names of subs other than ed. 15's or 12's, that can handle 1000wrms, and are under 300 each. thanxs. i have to sell my 4 rf hx2's (two still new in box) because i want to only run two subs, not 4.

I feel alot of it is personal preference, I have had some bad experiences with Audiobahn and some very good ones too, so its hard to give one solid opinion for a company with such a large product line

I have only heard audiobahns once....and well they actually had good sound quality despite what many say. Granted they were in a small sealed box which is probably why....but either way they sounded great and got loud too even with half the rated power into them. (two 15 flame q's running off of a jbl1200.1)

I was looking at some of Audiobahn's amps earlier, they seemed pretty nice for the money... are they good quality? And most importantly, do they sound good? I need something that sounds real nice.

If not, can anyone suggest an alternative? I need an amp that can put out between 1200w and 1500w at 1ohm, and a 2 channel amp that can put out 100w to each channel at 4ohms.

I'd prefer not to spend over $900 total...any ideas?

Audiobahn makes decent products. Their alum line has great sound quality and they can all put out some SPL numbers for their price.

Their amps have been very reliable from what I have seen.

A kid I know blew off his trunk with two 15s in the back of his old pontiac.. ..or so my dear friend says.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif As for sound.. they are decent..
