Can someone help us out...Me and a freind have a bet going....in the song "White Girl by Young Jeezy" What Hertz is the low note played throughout the song? I'm saying 36 Hz.....He says 34 Hz.....Thanks!!

Does a box have to be tuned to that frequency (32) to get a good response from that low note? Also can someone please explain to me what ohm/ohms is best for a subwoofer...Thanks!!

there is no best ohm/ohm for a sub...

it all depends on the amp and how many subs you have to wire..

I tune a lil higher than some (34-38) because I like the peak gains it gives and I still play down to 30 quite loud.. tuning lower cuts the percieved loudness of upper freqs.. but emphasizes the lower 1's as well as giving a smoother overall freq response w/o the louder peaks.

If your looking for power, most amps put out the most power at 1-2ohms. So if your going for the most power, I would say a Dual 2 or Dual 4ohm, depending on your amp...

When talking about peaks, its also important to know that your car itself has its own peak. You may have an enclosure tuned to a given frquency, but your car may actually peak at another. Every car is going to be different.

What...you gotta look at how many ohms your amp is also? All I know (I think I know) is if you have an 8 ohm sub and you bridge it...it drops it down to 4 ohms, and I guess if you had a 4 ohm it would drop to 2ohms.I don't understand about ohms... concerning the amp.....when you bridge, is it the speaker or the amp that drops ohms? Can someone please break this down for me!!
