Well, in the process of installing my 4-channel amp, me and my friend threw the splmeter.com meter (here) in my car and played a few songs from a Bass Mechanikz cd. I ended up peaking at 138 dB at 44 hz.

How is that for 1 12" CVR being powered by a BX1000D at 2 ohms (rated at 750, but probably around 400-500)?

Yeah, I have no idea about that.
