service an amplifier not purchased froma retailer? theres a mojo 4kw on ebay at the moment, if it stays cheap enough im gonna scoop it up, will they service it or will i have a giant paperweight?

thats what i figured, but didnt know if they were like jl and wouldnt touch it without purchasing from an authorized dealer

They WILL NOT service an amplifier without proof of purchase from an authorized retailer.

I worked for a shop who sold Memphis, and I talked to the reps on the phone... they won't service it.

ok but why would they not service it? i could see them not warrantying anything but why would they not work on it an charge you? they would still make money on it.

Memphis service dept stinks...no recept no dice and they outsource repairs
