Do you think the new iPhone is worth it?

Ive had my iPhone for a few months now (since december) and apparently next month there coming out with a new iPhone that supports the 3G network and turn-by-turn GPS along with other things and larger hard drive. Should i sell my phone now and get as much out of it as i can and just get the new one when it comes out next month? heres a link from yahoo and there gadget section for info on it. how much could i sell my phone for? its still in excellent condition.

If you plan on selling when it comes out then yes I would sell it now, if you have a cheap phone to get by with for a month just use your SIM card in that for a month and get as much out of your current iphone as possible.

im seeing some 8 gig iphones on ebay that are jailbroken and the sim is unlocked so it works on alot of gsm networks going for 500 dollars with 48 bids. mines already unlocked like that so i think ill be able to get that much out of it and spend an extra 100 and get the 32gig version of the new iphone, or at least the 16gig

the phones are new that you see, anything used even for a second immediately decreases its value depending on what the object is. Luckily your phone happens to be one of those. Its like buying a new car, once you drive it off the lot, its worth several thousands less.

I dont' think it'll be worth it. I just got my iphone and love it. The new ones don't have the upgrades that I justify to be worth an extra 150. Cause there raising the prices on them again.

i guess i can wait it out and see how the new iphone works out. i could really use the GPS and the video streaming though..along with the 3g network for my phone is used on the job 90% of the time and i really need it. im ok with the slow speeds of EDGE but i would kill for a true GPS on this phone and not this stupid google maps.

it worth wiping my *** with it. sprints the new htc touch wipes up the floor with that ifone. windows mobile prof and has so much stronger support options. apple came out with the fone way to fast should have waited and it could be tons better

you still have to pay the shit load of money a month. Probably even more, because now its "Super fast ultra mega 3G". Plus GPS, and probably AT&T TV.

I still don't understand the concept of charging more for a phone. It's the same **** data.

My next plan will probably be some phone on the Sprint Sero Plan.

I have an iPhone now and i'll be getting the new one if they don't raise the price.. No way i'm paying more than $399 for one..

And I agree the service is way too expensive.

I know massive nerds who bought the iphone and don't even use the phone part.. It's a powerful little computer..

That's one thing I don't understand. How can you be that much of a mac fan? I'd rather just buy an ultraportable.

in comparison to verizon i dont think the phone plans are that bad, i have unlimited data/text and minutes for 85 a month. but without the unlimited minutes it was 65. i dont know what the original prices are though...a childhood friend of mine is manager of at&t in the LA area lol.

its not just a ya know...its practically a handheld laptop. jailbreak it and unlock the sim you can use it on any network and install so much cool shit on there.
