Do you love time correction? Yes or no and why?

I feel like a douche, since I've had my Alpine for a couple years, and have never tried out the time correction. I'm interested to see what people say here. It might give me the motivation to set mine up.

what sounds good to the driver ends up sounding like a fooked up mess to whoever else is sitting in the car
Then I guess it's a good thing that I couldn't care less what my passengers think? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I never have anyone ride with me anyways.

has other adverse effects but i went with the most obvious. also depending how you lean can make a big difference. sure time alignment helps but it is not a sure fire fix for using s#itty speaker locations

x2. Its nice to have to just widen the soundstage or help with imaging but will never replace a quality, well thought out install.

It does, IMO, make a world of difference. Get the right settings, listen to it for a day or two and then switch back to having it off, and you'll hate it. And who cares about passengers lol, it's your car and your system. It's not like your going to set the settings so they can be impressed in the passenger seat.

Exactly. My 800PRS also comes with 4 stage positions so you can set different TA settings for each one (left, right, front, full).

As others have said, nothing beats good placement of good speakers, but TA makes them even better. It can also help pull your bass up front.

I have a deck that will do it, but have never used it. I believe you can only use it when going active, correct?
nope. you can use it active or passive.. allso called " time allignment"

other then proper speaker location time allignment helps with stageing. and how long it takes for the sound comeing from each speaker to reach youre ear.
