I built a cavilier with 2 crossfire xs spl 10's and a cadence zrs9000d (aka ab 500.1) and it does a 150+ at 39 hz out of the trunk. and hits just as low as my 15 does. so as for 10's not hitting low, its all in the box. And the car is driven everyday.

yeah...im pretty sure 10s could hit pretty low...but not as low as a 12 or 15 in a proper box you know

my buddy mike who built my old box for my 12s added a baffle to show me how it would sound with a 10" petras hyperthrow sub...it could fool anyone

I had some DD 9510's, Kicker Solo X 10's, T3 TSS 10's and I didn't really favor them as much as I favor my 15's and 18's.. I guess its all personal prefernce too.
