I've learned that its not YOU that you have to worry about. Its someone who stumbles upon it visiting you, or their children. Always that stupid person, not always the owner the gun. Although a little drink or smoke and all of a sudden your james bond LOLI have taken the hunter safety course. So I know the safety precautions and whatnot for a gun owner. I have not however, taken a home defense course or something like that.
But I am far away from being stupid when it comes down to owning a gun.
x2. dont go anywhere without my S&W SWAT 6'. not sayin i need it, but its handy to have. im part redneck too..i would feel safer with one. but i'm not of age just yet, so i guess i'll have to wait.
i usually always carry a knife with me anywhere i go though, unless it's a courthouse or something like that.
What happens when you find out its your 16 year old neighbor who came in the wrong door drunk? I guess thats what scares me. Although, I am not against people owning guns, just not for me.I am more of a shoot first, ask questions later kind of person. lol. If you keep coming after I rack the slide on the shotgun, you will be shot.
Youre completly right in that aspect. That is why I always lock up the gun when people are over at my house. But when it is just me and the people that live here, it is unlocked and ready to goI've learned that its not YOU that you have to worry about. I guess it depends on the person. You sound exactly like the right kinda person to own a gun. Your never going to be in the news for it. Your intelligent and realize that its for your defense and not for show or to show how large your manhood is.Youre completly right in that aspect. That is why I always lock up the gun when people are over at my house. But when it is just me and the people that live here, it is unlocked and ready to go
Yea I guess so. But the door is always locked. The only way in would be through a window. And then you pretty much highly doubt it is your drunk neighborWhat happens when you find out its your 16 year old neighbor who came in the wrong door drunk? I guess thats what scares me.
