Do they make single din EQ's?

pretty sure they do. Search around, i think Arc Audio had one, but it was like only 5 different settings.

The controller for the Alpine PXA-h701 is 1 DIN. I think that Pioneer has something similar as well. Why not just get a 2 DIN HU with a touchscreen and all the EQ and crossover stuff built into it?

because on BMW, there is one DIN for the HU....then down by the shifter there is one din for change and then another din for the on board computer, i removed the on board computer and now ahve an empty gap i want to fill. I cant put a 2 din touch screen there because its way to low and its right byt he shifter,

also, my deck doesnt have a sub out....do I absolutely need to get a new deck for it to sound at its best potential?

screw the EQ and get a McIntosh MX406. I have one and took it out to try the Pioneer DEHP-880PRS and even though the PRS has time alignment, Sub base out and can control my 80Gb iPod, MAN do I miss the quality of my Mcintosh.
