Do these things work? & What size should I get? (XSTATIC BATCAP 2000)

Are you planning to run it as a second battery or as the main battery? The powerpack will probably work well for your needs. The 2000 will work for needed power but the powerpack would be able to give you the power faster.

I currently run a Batcap 800 under the hood and Powerpack in the trunk, its amazing.

i run a batcap 2000 on stock electrical with a Optima RT

was running a AQ2200, only saw 14.1-0 a couple times //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

lookin to buy 3-4 more in the near future

The battery under my hood is a old one and im planing on

replacing it soon with just a regular 800 cca batt

Iv done the big-3...and I thought about buyin 3

new deep cycle battery's but didnt want to give

up the extra room

And that's when I saw the 2000 batcap it is so small

but has a lot of power and is smaller than the Kinetik HC 2000

The Power Pack is a very unique product, combining a large 35 Farad capacitor bank along with our new Model 600 Batcap.

This Power Pack gives the electrical system the best of both worlds.

NO more blinking lights and NO more excessive voltage drops.

The dimensions of the Power Pack are 7 ½” wide x 3” tall x 8 3/8” and it weighs only 10 1/4 lbs.

I got a ?? If all that thing is a 600bat + a 35F Capacitor how come I couldnt

buy a Xstatic BatCap Model 2000 and couple it with, like a Earthquake Sound PHC-25 2.5 Farad Power Stiffening cap ?? What would be the differince??

Given the following premise:

choose at least .5 farad (500,000 microfarads) per 500 watts RMS of power output.

A batcap 2000+2.5F cap would give you the support of up to 2000 CCA + up 2,500 (2.5*.5*500) watts RMS

A Powerpack would give you the support of up to 600CCA + up to 35,000 (35/.5*500) watts RMS

That is the Difference mathematically and if you account for all other variables you are looking at less performance from both options but you can see you are starting with more capability in the Powerpack.

I have a question about batcap...

I run kill switches on my car.

one for main electrical ( car computer/starter head unit ext...)

and another for solely car stereo stuff.

and every single time I turn my engine off to let the car sit over an hour,

I disconect both kill switches.

before starting engine - I turn on kill switches,

in doing above said process, will batt cap experience any problems

being un hooked from battery power over and over?

as I have heard that caps need to be charged with a card before being able to be hooked up to its battery power of the car, as voltage levels need to be equlized or something to that effect? true or not ? - I will be constantly conecting and dis conecting its power, so is that to be a problem ?
