Sorry Tuan, but that's actually backwards.I don't mean to correct you...but for Qts...lower Qts suggests a sealed enclosure. Raising Qts suggests a ported system and anything above 0.7 would almost be best suited for free air applications.
Lower Qts is generally better for ported (.4 and lower is the "general" figure), mid-high Qts for sealed (.4-.7), and higher for IB applications.
Those are simply sheer generalities. Also can look at EBP (Fs/Qes) to attempt to determine appropriate applications in conjunction with Qts (higher EBP is better suited for ported, lower EBP better suited for sealed).
But overall, it comes down to the sub in question. I'm using a subwoofer with a .207 Qts and EBP of 113 in a sealed enclosure and am more than pleased with the results. Likewise, the Image Dynamics IDW has a low Qts (under .3) and relatively high Fs, yet is considered to be one of the best sounding subs ever produced for car audio....especially when ran infinite baffle.
