do shops still do bench testing on amps ?

i bought a hifonics 1500d off ebay and the guy says brand new blah blah and i want to have it benched before putting it on my sus to make certin there is no problems with it. when i worked at a shop we did that don't know if they still do and if someone in the metro atlanta area knows of a place, that would be cool.

I'm getting mine benched when I get it next week, but that is only becuase I want to see the actual output I am receiving. Gonna get benched in 4, 2 and 1 ohm loads also.

Electronics Repair Store is where I am going. I wish I could do it at work, have everything but a good power supply, which sucks, lol.
