DO NOT go to CIA Engineering for amp repair

yes, yes they do. glad you got that shit worked out.
Me too. I also forgot to mention something I find a bit funny, Joe at CIA recommended that I send the amp to K&B or to Amp Repair Center and even gave me their numbers. Thanks for referring me to the two crappiest repair facilities. . .

Guess its time for some phone calls.

My xx-hercules came to me when i bought it BNIB with a brok'd LED logo and a fried RCA jack.

i sent it into CIA engineering, it took them 3 months to get the amp back to me. When i got it back, the LED logo didnt work, and the amp worked for a whole 15 minutes (not my fault either, i tested 2 other amps on the same wiring, both worked) before it quit a second time.

I sent the amp back to them (they did pay for shipping and whatnot though). This time i figured it owuld take forever, so i sent it in a few weeks befor ei left for commercial fishing this last summer. I get back home 2 months later and nothing. So, i call them, and they said "they were waiting on parts". another 2 months goes by, and i finally got it back, broken. I eventually freaked anf raised hell, and hifonics ended up swapping me for a new 2607, which i use now.

CIA = never again

I sent them a 4000xd like last year when I didnt have time to work on it myself, and it took them 5 months to fix it....then as soon as I got it in and hooked it up, it blew up. Then they accused me of "improper installation"....ME.... come on now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif I just replaced the blown fets myself and sold it.

im sure there are plenty of similar occourances.
