the soundstream pic1700.1d from millionbuy.com (and their ebay store) is an older model of the amp that they are selling for cheap.

but they have informed me that quite a few have been returned for problems (including mine).

they were nice enough to give me a heads up, and i upgraded to the pa3000db.

so, i would NOT suggest getting this amp (from millionbuy) as they are prone to problems.

As in your blaming Millionbuy.com, or that it is just a bad amp? I get everything I possibly can from Millionbuy, and have had no issues yet.

The issue is it is an old amp, BNIB or not, it is being sold cheap for a reason //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Ohh, and if you decide to buy something from Millionbuy.com, DO NOT go through FedEx, they don't know how to deliver anything. It's like they are goldfish, they don't remember anything past 30 seconds, because they have had to deliver to my house 4 times, and each time, they take 2 weeks and lie about reaching my house, because they are too lazy to find it.

i wasn't blaming millionbuy. i was actually commending them for letting me know it could be a problem with their stock of amps.

i have ordered from them half a dozen times, and i'm pretty happy. they are, however, very strict with all their policies, and will not bend the rules for any reason. not really anything bad though, all for their and the customer's security.

i was mainly stating that i got it from millionbuy, because are newer versions of this amp (picasso series) with similar model numbers, which probably won't have this problem.

millionbuy always ships my items (ground) through fedex, and i haven't had a problem.

but fedex does use independent carriers for some deliveries. maybe that's your problem. last time mine was dropped off by a spee-dee delivery truck //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
