Meh I've pulled off the majority of the claims until I can come together with substantiated proof. I think people get too riled up because they feel like there's a bandwagon to follow. I'm all for some Skar contempt, but it should be justified, you know? Built on facts, not hearsay.

The B-stock as a-stock, for starters. Apparently, he mentioned the surrounds would be busted on caco.

Everything else I'm backing off of comes from what he's done personally outside of the Skar name. This includes his subtilis/ebay nonsense (even though that was shady as all getout in both situations).

Is it unfortunate he doesn't represent his company well? Of course. But so do hundreds of other businesses on a daily basis. He definitely has a lack of knowledge/understanding when it comes to competing products as evidenced by his consistently through-the-roof pricing on his entire line of equipment, especially the wire preorder. That in itself will be enough to signal his demise over time if he continues to make these mistakes.

Realistically, we should all be a little more adult about the situation, myself included. If we really want to impact a change here, it's going to take more than a bunch of *** jokes and he-said-she-said to make it happen. But that's just my opinion...

The only way to hold him accountable or use the law of tort against him is to uphold and substantiate what has been said... He has, in the past, known to be a shady seller before he built his buisness. As much as I want to punch him in the face, and make it known to everyone of how much of a scumbag he is as a person. These opinions shouldnt dictate our arguments for not buying his products. This is all what you have been advising, which I solely agree. I would also point out that most of the users who do use these fallacious (straw man) descriptions are made because of what skar audio stands for, and I'm sure most would not use what they have said as arguments against his company.

Kinda what I'm getting at. He can be a total douchebag as a person, but that's not gonna bring his company down. If you want to expose his company, you can't just go after the owner unless Kevin turns out to be someone like Bernie Madoff.

this isn't the first time he's posted BS parameters for a driver. In fact EVERY time he posts any kind of t/s params or specs for a driver, they're either fake or there's a "typo". I'll try and find the thread later, but he posted t/s params for one of his mids that were physically impossible, and got called out.
