Ok, i would do a review of this website but i didn't see a specific category for reviewing online car audio/electronic retailers...
Back in Aug 06 i bought an Eclipse CD5000 from these guys. Thought i had got a sweet deal on it (paid 379.99 brand new) but almost exactly a year later (July 07) i started experiencing problems with it as some have seen through my various threads on various forums (roe/ca)
Anyway, i call to get a warranty replacement. I was informed i needed to pack up everything and send it back and i would have a replacement out within a week. I was reassured a WEEK turnaround time as that was my biggest concern..
So i pack it up, send it back. After 5 days of them having it "sitting around" i was informed it could take up to 6-8 WEEKS for eclipse to "verify there was a problem with the unit and issue a credit/replacement"... i was FURIOUS //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif
The manager of the returns dept. was unwilling to do anything for me, he "apologized" for the "misinformation" but he couldnt do anything about issuing me a credit......let alone the CD5000 was discontinued!!
So after literally reaming the **** a new one, (and keep in mind this is after multiple calls, almost 2 weeks after i originally sent the unit in.) he FINALLY issued me a credit and i paid a $20 difference for an upgrade to the CD5100. In my opinion they should have paid the difference for the bullshit they put me through.. so i said ok, when will this ship out. He said on Monday, the 13th (i ordered it on Friday the 10th)
I was ok with that solution, but it was shipping from CA to PA, and i wouldnt of gotten it for like a week... so i called FIRST thing monday morning before it was shipping out to have shipping upgraded to 3 day, $15. Days go by so yesterday (wednesday the 15th) i called for my tracking number. Apparently "they dont have it"... again, //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/verymad.gif.3f39c5c2fd57527b671fad3efdfac756.gif He said i would have it by the end of the day. I told him i upgraded my shipping so i would have it today, thursday the 16th, and thats WHY i paid more for the quicker shipping.

So i called, said i want refunded my $15 and they lost a customer for good and they can expect a BBB complaint along with very negative reviews and i was told to **** off.
I would MUCH rather buy from crutchfield or something of the sort, pay a little more but have AWESOME customer service... **** these guys for treating someone who spent $400+ in my first visit there!!
