so im about to buy 1 hifonics AS12 tomorrow, but do i want the 2 ohm or 4 ohm model, whats the difference... which is louder, idk much, thanks guys

It all depends soley on the amp you are getting or have. Neither 2 or 4 is better than one another, it just depends on what you are powering it with.

Since you are running the amp at 2ohms, you want to match that with your sub. So get the 2ohm version.

since this sub is a dual voicecoil, you are going to wanna get the 4 ohm version, which will enable you to wire it down to 2 ohms. basically your ohms help you out with you amp, you have to match them up to the ohmage your amp is stable at. you can wire them higher but you should never go lower. so buy the 4 ohm speaker and wire it in parallel to your amp.
