Do i have pioneer engine whine?

So my tweeter wire was sheered in my door causing my amp to shut off. After i fixed that problem i have loud engine whine/alternator whine and turn on/off pop. I figured that somehow i blew the pico fuse. I wanted to check for sure before pulling the head unit out so i grounded the RCA wire at the input of the amp. After i did that nothing seemed to change still static and engine whine. Do you think my pico-fuse popped? I checked my amp grounds they seem good. All sound stops when RCAs are unplugged from hu. Any ideas how to fix this?

fuse at the head unit. there is a screw/nut in the back of the headunit run a ground wire to it. or u can ground the rcas at the deck too both work.

Check your rca's. The grounds are probably shot in the deck.

Ok is there anyway to ground my RCAs without pulling the hu out my dash isn't super easy to get off.

My RCA outputs are on a 6 inch pigtail connection. Does it have to ground to the hu chassis or will any ground work?

Fix your grounds correctly. Send it to a radio repair shop or an amp repair shop like CIA or ARC. Scott at ARC fixed several of my decks.
