DLS vs. Arc multichannel amps

Desertheat-He wants to run active-I now the set he is using has the DRT-25 which needs to be crossed over no lower than about 2.5khz and up. Looking at the manual it apppears there is a 3x mulitplier on the HP filter on the front channels bringing it to 1800hz and up. Is that correct. Which is not going to get work with the DRT-25 tweeter's. I would say they might play that low with a steeper slope but its risky.

This from the manual on the A4

The filter setup are as follows:

Front:Lowpass (LP) 50 - 125 Hz Highpass (HP) 20 - 200 Hz alt 60 - 600 Hz (x 3 button)

Rear: Lowpass (LP) 45 - 200 Hz alt. 90 - 400 Hz (x 2 button) Highpass (HP) 20 - 200 Hz

The x2 and x3 buttons are used if you run a 2-way

I am not pulling for either amp in particular. Can we help this guy out in what will get him active 2-way front off the amp x-overs.

I will try and find the manual for the ARC.

The ARC and DLS are both at the top of the yep when it comes to quality.IMO I would no hesitate to run either one. I like them both. Excellent products.IMO

thanks guys for taking the time to help me choose the correct amp for my set up needs. I was just looking at the internal parts on the DLS and surely looks well built and impressive. Is there really a night and day difference from running passive to running active? I know that running active, it will be difficult to tune and wanted to know if theres actually a significant gain in sound going active. thanks once again
