the DLS would give you more power at one ohm, but not much more. I think the JL would be better, but it's more expensive. plus, the black 1000/1 looks bad ***

well, i switched from JL amps to DLS amps.

I meant I just liked the JL better. plus, i switch my stereo about every 3 months, so the JL gives you some more options. but i'm sure the DLS is a great amp.

also, the DLS probably puts out 100-200 more watts, not that big of a deal.

That's a good reason.

I am not a smart @ss like most guys but can you give a better reason than just don't? I have never heard of DLS and I have always owned JL Audio and love to read good reasons.

depends on how you are going to run your subs. but i say of the two get jl, more flexbility in sub configurations you can run if you decide to change out subs.

I would say jl also. It will match, and I doubt it wont sound good. The / series has a good crossover/eq. This forum is biased against any mainstream company, ie; alpine, jl, kenwood. What really matters is what you want.

Depends wht you need, JL put out 1000 watts at various Impedences. The A6 is a class A/B amp so it will draw more power.

I'd prefer to have the A6 if I was going to properly utilize it and had the power to spare.

So are you guys saying that the DLS will pull alot more current??? I wish someone around here....sold DLS...I'm in North Carolina, I had plans of running the amp at 1ohm for the 2 12w6v2's, and I have had people on the forum say the DLS 4 channel kills the JL 300/4 hands down?
