DJ's Could I have fun with this setup?

Depends.

If I was DJ'ing I'd probably use something like an Ortofon Concorde or Stanton Trackmaster, cartridge setup is a pain in the *** and anything that saved me from having to do that every time would be a major help.
He most likely will need shure mm47 as he will be like most people and not set the toe arm right and get straight to scratching and mixing lol.

Well, he'd have to do that no matter what cartridge he ended up with, although tonearm alignment is a piece of cake with an SL-1200MK2 or clone because everything's marked on the counterweight and VTA is infinitely adjustable...try going to a Rega tonearm or something where nothing is marked, and you have to balance the cartridge with a separate scale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
