diy home theatre computer speakers + crossovers

Maybe step down a line in the Dayton speakers and go with the Classic series. They make 5 1/4 and 6 1/2 inch 4 ohm mids that you can get for around 15 bucks a peice. Dayton also makes some 4 ohm tweeters for about 5 bucks a piece. They are the Neodymium (sp) series.

I know you can get the mids sheilded, not sure about the tweets though. But there are millions of tweets out there.

yes and no. the car is pretty much done, the stereo is virtually all the way installed, but my crossover was DOA when i got it i guess, and its out for repair - and it wont be back anytime soon, so it looks like ill be waiting till spring to finish up the install and put in all nice shielded wire and all the SQ finishing touches, along with my EQ.

just too **** cold out right now to even bother //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
