I am not looking for a secret. I am looking for prespectives on why a marriage failed. I am just curious if it's more about a bunch of small things, 1 big thing, etc.

My sister divorced her husband because he was a secret pill addict. And he wouldn't admit to it. Even to this day he still thinks its ok to be abusing prescription pills like he does.

She put up with it for 2-3 years. Constantly tried getting him help. Even my brothers and I tried getting him help.

But he didn't think that he had a problem.

That's probably better. You'd be shocked to find out that there are wives out there that go drinking with their husbands and his buddies.

my wife is like this. not right now because she is pregnant, but other wise she will. she can throw back some drinks for a girl her size

Yes, the inlaws are the real problem. Need to live 2 1/2 hours away from them otherwise they can stop by whenever they like... no bueno...
