Divorced Crew?

Got married on our 9 year anniversary, have owned a house together for a few years now. We have pretty much been married for a while minus the ring and paper work. I still say its worth it!
And OP I would recommend not listening to people who have never been married or people who have been divorced because the people who havent been married have no idea and the people who are divorced never really had a real marrage imo.

It's all downhill from here...

I got married a few months ago, I was on the fence about doing it or not and its funny because me and the wife are the same way. Im clean and organized and shes messy. I thought this would be a problem but I really dont care anymore, I do my part and she does hers she has been getting better with cleaning etc... I also gave her her own room in the house for close and getting ready that she can make as messy as she wants and I just dont go in there Lol. Honestly getting married was the best thing I ever did and I just wish I did it sooner! Things seem different for some reason after being married but different in a very good way!

Not necessarily. I am actually suggesting to him to take your approach. I had a good marriage until the moment my son was born. I am not at all telling him not to get married, but speaking from experience and trying to be a voice of reason and explain the potential dangers if not 100% ready to go.

LOL well Im definitely glad I didnt get married to someone like you! No offense but you gotta have a better attitude towards things in life. Both of our parents are divorced but that doesnt make me think for one second that we will get divorced.

Too much of a blanket statement I think. So going purely by numbers, we have one, maybe two people who think it's a good idea and about 12 who don't. Seems like denim's numbers are pretty close.

Thanks. For example, I am fairly clean and keep things up. She is messy. She doesn't seem to want or improve. Not sure if that can become a deal breaker.

Ill say this.... Ive only been married for alittle over a year. I went through hell from the get go when were only dating. I thought to myself time and time again if this was worth it. So i held on and stayed opimistic. And it got us were we are today. Yea we argue but thats a healthy relationship. IF YOU DONT ARGUE THEN YOU KNOW THERE ARE PROBLEMS SOME WERE. But like i said a couple years down the line im now married and very happy and in love with my wife. I know threw hell and high water she has my back and i have hers to the end................. Key word of advice NEVER LISTEN TO YOUR FRIENDS WHO ARE SINGLE. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU IN ANYWAY. LISTEN TO YOURSELF ONLY.
