Distribution Question?

Hey, I am planning on putting 2 amps in my car a Optive 2000d and a Fosgate 300a2, so basically for the power, I should run 0 gauge to a distribution Block, the 4 gauge out right? and then run 0 gauge from the grounding spot then 4 gauge to the amps right? But where should i but the distribution block under the hood or in the back?

in the back near the system....Run 1/0 to the distribution block then depending on how big of a wire each amp takes...run that size to each amp...and the same size for the ground...

well then run 4ga from batt to distri. then 4ga to the Opti2000D

None of the rest of us here (that have runs of 1/0awg cable or larger) particularly cared for having to make our runs either - but the old adage of Do It Right The 1st Time So You Won't Have To Do It Again particularly holds true here.

I have same problems...i wanna run all 4 guage all through system...mut my amp dont need 4 guage that can take 8 guage..so i chose to run 4 guage from battery to block then 8 guage to amps..i have smaller sub amp and 4 channel

If you think it is hard to run a single run of 1/0 try getting 2 runs of 4 ga through a spot. The single run of 1/0 will be easier and probably cheaper.
