distribution block fuse?

So I just picked up a new soundstream L1 2100D which is rated at 2100 watts rms at 1 ohm... I will be running 0 gauge back to the trunk to a distribution block from which I planned on running a 2ft. Or so run of 4 gauge wire to both amps (other one is low wattage just for speakers around 200 rms) do I need to run separate fuses on each wire or would running a anl fused distribution block be substantial and if so what size fuse(s) would you recommend for my application?

The safest way to do this is to fuse each wire either in a fused distribution block or with an inline fuse on each smaller wire. The rated power output of the amplifier(s) is not a concern for choosing a fuse. 100 amp for 4 ga CCA or 150 amp for 4 ga OFC. It appears that amplifier does not have built in fusing, so I suggest you refer to the installation manual for further guidance.

Well I'm now considering a second battery in my trunk and then just running the 4 gauge from there... so I should just run 2 100a fuses on each 4 gauge run and then like a 150a fuse for the 0 gauge power wire connecting the 2 batteries? And if I don't get a battery basically same concept except replace battery with the block?
