Grounding to the car is most common, but additionally running a dedicated ground would only help.

run grounds to sheet metal nearby the amps. avoid grounding them to the same piece of metal if you can

for grounds, maybe. but it shouldn't. i always ground to the nearest sheet thick sheet metal to the amp with the largest and cleanest ground connection i can get.

use a bolt if you can, not self tappers
