Already Being Used....
I had dish for a few years, had cable the last two years and just switched to Direct TV. Dish was ok but no NFL total package (only way i can watch all the games i want) and they wanted to put two satellites on my roof when we bought our house. Cable was good, never really any outages or no weather interference but lack of channels for the price. We had one dvr and could only watch it on that tv. they wanted $15 for every extra DVR. DirectTV i can now record on the one DVR and watch it anywhere. ANd also got the 4 HD receivers as compared to the one with cable.
I kept my cable company for internet as there the fastest in the country.(at least by a few sources anyways). You can get 100mb speed through them and 15mb is there base package.
In short tho i was paying about 120(about 70/mo of that for the tv part) thro cable for 1 HD/DVR and about 100 channels. Now with Direct i have 1dvr(watchable anywhere), 4 HD receivers and about 250 channels for the same price. Do have the eye sore satellite on my roof now tho...
