So what happens when the submitted logo can not be used cause its not a vector?

or what happens when the submitter is like "I aint spending 10 hours to trace this into a vector for you" or "I cant"

or your printer is like "ok send us the work and we will turn it into a vector for you and the shirts come back looking like *** or double the cost?

you need to finalize your details before you have people doing the work for you.

But I hope you realize all of the submissions have design details that can not be traced or "reformated" into a vector..

ie drop/innershadows.. shading... gradients.. etc..

your right mike. Ya know ive got many shirts made up by my t-shirt printer, and ive always submitted high pixel count jpeg's to them, and printing them up hasnt been a problem at all, so I see no reason why sumbission even at this stage would be an issue. I guess some people like to start problems where there wasnt one to begin with, but hey thats pretty normal around here. All of my image submissions are scaled down high resolution jpeg files, and ive got the 1500x1500 original sizes stored on my hard drive if any of mine are ever needed for shirt production. I simply reduce the size of the picture here as so it can be clearly seen on t-shirts at this sumbission stage of the project.

Real shit though AVSTANG02, u gotta undersand that this is only the "submission stage". Whatever t shirt is chosen, then it will move to the next level.

Having them printed from high resolution jpegs is not the proper way to do it.

I see what he means...if someone spends 5 hours designing a logo and it's not the right format and has to start all over again for the final design...that's not worth a free shirt. It would just be easier to specify exactly what the designs need to be...
