Disconnecting ground question?

I haven’t mounted my amp yet and unfortunately I need to remove the bolt that my ground is connected to in order to mount it. Do I need to disconnect the NEG battery cable? Everything else will still be connected like the power cable, remote turn on, and the RCA’s. I do not have any exposed wiring to the amp, I stripped each wire so that the insulation is the only thing outside the terminals. Thanks!

That would be a smart idea, yeah...otherwise, if you happen to put a wrench in between the positive lead and ground, well...bad things will happen //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif
