DISAPPOINTED ON MY FIST MIC ATTEMPT sniff sniff

ive never been disappointed with a mic score! why? because i dont care to get metered haha. but really, i would expect to get disappointed with a first time run on a mic. what i guestamate decibel wise and having no reference point, im more than likely way off when trying to guess what im hitting.

this is true, i was disappointed with my 137.xx with a 3hp sub, but at least it was in a trunk car with 1500watts. And my box was pretty shitty.

First score always hurt you //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

yeah, definitely need to get to work if you plan on doing any kind of actual competing. For a pair of 10's and 1500 watts, you should EASILY be doing a 140+, ESPECIALLY on the epic.

What's the box tuned to? If you're actually serious about competing you'll want to make an spl box for the comps...

And was your score legal(sealed up, mic on the windshield) or outlaw(door open, mic in kickpanel)? Same question for you dragnix.

mine was legal, in the dash sealed up on the TL. Not the newest one, i don't think
Not too bad if it was in a daily box tuned low. The first comp I went to I did a 146.4 legal with 3 MJ's on a SAZ-1500D....It was my daily box too, tuned to 33hz, so I was happy. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

mine was tuned to 30hz...so i guess it's not too bad. Though that score was the same with the seats down and up //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

I only gained .6db going from legal to outlaw when I had the MJ wall. Now with the autotek I gain about 2.6db...
