Directed Audio D2400 Amp

I went to the local audio store and the Directed D2400 is what they recommended for my Dual 4 ohm 12" Kicker L5's. With that amp I can wire it down to 1 ohm and get the full 1200 rms out of it. Has anyone had any experience with these amps, or would you recommend a different amp?

d2400 is really strong....i got it....i used to power 2 12 type r with it...

the old skool amps were really good. I used to have a directed 100d and i recommended it to everyone. Ive heard they are not the same as they used to be but thats what everyone says about a company once they have been around for a while.

how does this amp compare to the hifonics amps, any other suggestions besides this amp?

the older model directed products were really good. I still have 2 Viper 1200's because they have been very good to me and they put out what they say and a little more. At least you know they will do rated power they are CEA Compliant.
