dimming issues with 4kw

First off, The Memphis 4kw is a hog ******* bastard of an amplifier.
Your alternator, even though it's 150 amp, SHOULD be upgraded. BEST CASE if those batteries will hold the charge, they're going to die quickly without much backing from the alternator. Long term ill effects to the alternator or battery is possible, although unlikely.

You need to check resting/charged voltages on those batteries as well as your stocker. You might have a bad battery somewhere.
I know the 4kw is a thirsty amp, but again, I am only running it at 1.8 ohms, so it should only be drawing what........200-240 amps or so. Should those batts not support that power draw?

I just went out and checked the resting voltage of the batts when wired together, and they are sitting at 12.4 volts. I'll get around to testing them individually later on........they're in a fairly difficult location.

having the batts wont make a difference if you dont have a Alt that can keep them charged up. you may have killed the batterys running it like that you may want to start by checking the batterys. also ground out ure rear batteries to the back, dont run a ground all the way to the front. more then likely your soulution will be a better Alt and possibly a dead battery
The rear batts are grounded to the chassis on individual 2/0 grounds.
