Stock alt. ( which is 105 amp i believe?)

im just tryin to find the cheapest/easiest solution here.

I could wire another battery effortlessly but the big 3 will cause me some issues, so if another batt will do the trick then I would like to just go with that. I know there is not a "right" answer here, but wud a HO alt be the last thing to try?

if you already have your 4ga wiring to the amp, just replace that with 1/0, add a line from your alt to battery, add one from chasis to block and one from neg to chasis.

shouldnt take you more than a couple of hours. You could also complete the big3 with 4ga and leave your existing 4ga in place, If you are going to do it anyway, might as well do all the wire.

in your case

1. try to do big 3.

2. add a second battery

3. last, look into a bigger alt.

if you make it to 2 and add the second batt and it does not do anything, can always return it and go on to the HO alt.

Pretty much the same situation for me. Stock alt, Dimming, No big 3. etc. I just added two kinetik 1800's in the trunk because I had them laying around and didn't have time to do any thing else. No more dimming and my volt meter says I drop about 1 volt less on full volume.

Dont get a cap, it limits your output. Do the big 3 in 1/0 or bigger( i beleive dbboom is selling 2/0 awg wire for pretty cheap so hit him up, thatll work great for the big 3), and upgrade you wire to 1/0. That should solve most of it, if not all. GL.
