no it won't, it will only put a bigger strain on the alternator.

nope. That would not help.

Dimming headlights are caused by there being insufficient power to maintain the systems voltage @ ~14.4V. A second battery would only add to the strain on your alternator (until it is charged, but after every bass hit it would lose some charge).

The best solution is to get a higher power alternator, or get your current one rewound so that there is more power available.
