Digital time alignment, and crossover/eq settings

My setup currently consists of a Kenwood excelon kdc-x890, arc 4050cxl, and diamond coaxials. Should be getting another amp and sub soon and making some kickpanels for components. I know how to set my gains with my oscope, and have the test tones but what frequency do I use? And how do I set up the rest of the settings? I listen to rock reggae mostly.

A good safe/common point to xover your full range speakers/coaxs is a HP @ 80hz. Raise the volume to a level where you feel you'd like to hear them(~75%), and try the different slopes looking for a point where you dont hear distortion/bottoming out. If that doesnt work, raise it to the next available xover point and repeat. I think you should leave the test tones out of the equation and tune by ear until the rest of your speakers are integated.

In the meantime I advise you to get the mnost out of youre speakers to prepare them in a nice solid baffle and invest in some sort of sound dampening at the very least around the mounting area/doors.

When setting your gain use a 1khz tone for your coaxs. Use a 50hz tone for your subs.

Try starting out your crossovers at 80-100hz. Play around and find out what you think sounds best.

Time alignment should be explained in your owner's manual. Settings will depend heavily on your car and your install. But here is a post that explains it in general terms.

Got the baffle and sound dampening covered, sub should come within a month or two. My owners manual has no mention of how to determine the delay only how to change its value, so now I understand what im setting.
