So all in all ~200 gigs of SD movies, and about 500 gigs of HD movies. I also have the seasons of the sapranos, playmakers, weeds, californication, entourage, and southpark.

music collections is small but growing...~ 25gigs.

Are they all decent copies or do you have a lot of junk, I have honestly never downloaded movies off torrents but was under the impression a lot of them are low quality?

yeah I pick up screeners every now and then, but im spoiled and like my HD content. I can't watch a cam movie though...just gets on my nerves.

The HD movies are all MPEG-4 same quality that you get from Directv HD. The SD movies are all DivX or XviD. Im VERY picky about quality and I can watch all of my standard Def movies and enjoy them.

How do you tell what you are getting before you download? My PC won't play anything until its full downloaded so if I download and it is junk its pretty much just a waste of time.

Do you watch all these movies on your PC or on your TV too? I would not mind getting a couple 1TB drives to store movies if I could find a way to stream them to my DLP.

that tru im picky to but ill wait and wait if there is nothing as screeners ill eventuly dl the cam and deal with it. thats why i have almost all R5s. dont have HD:crap: wish i did nice vids btw

all of the movies are watched on my TV...its setup in a dual monitor config with my pc. Sometimes I stream through the Xbox 360...but its loud as sh1t, so I try not to use it for movies. I'll get some pics of my setup here in a few minutes.

as far as downloading movies. I use Newsgroups....so its kind of a "pay for site" I have to rent server space and a membership to a website. But all in all it costs me about 15 bucks a month...for unlimited downloads.

Just start downloading/ripping. Its taken me only about 4-5 months to build this up. the torrent sites i go to are by invite only kinda sux but they have nice selection of stuff there. wild-bytes and revolutiontt, u dont need a invite on bitsoup

I like my newsgroups. I was on demonoid before it got taken down.

But since im on a server here at the house....and other people use newsgroups. We decided to optimize our setup for downloading this way...so all of the ports are forwarded all wrong for my uTorrent client.

No HD content. I have around 300 movie DVD's and another 200 DVD's of TV series'. My music collection is my pride and joy, though.
