I havent heard a cvr, but I think its pretty close to the old comps. This thing has amazing output for a single 12 with 325 watts. Its not gonna make anyone go def, but it sounds pretty **** good too. Hers is in about 2.1 cubes tuned to 36 and gets pretty loud in the trunk of her Chrysler 300 tank. Will work in 1.75 up to 2.5 cubes, tuned from 35hz up to 40 easy.

IMO you cant do much better for less than a hundred bucks for a sub, I have owned them all. 3512, now 9512. i was sjeptical at first, but no doubt its still DD quality.
