Digital Camera: Need some Help.

i want a digital camera.

nothing to crazy....just good clean quality pictures and vids.

i want it to be fairly small/compact.

anybody help me out?

Panasonic FX8! great camera for 300$.... i just picked up a casio ZX55 for 200$ at my store. great zoom small. and 5.1megapix...

I've got a Kodak EasyShare Z730, it takes great pics and vids. Think it was around $300.
