A friend is trying to sell me a amp but when he tells me the watts he says thats it is a different rating than the normal watts type. I need to know if there are different types and what is the different is any?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

What kind of different power ? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif There are two basic different kinds of power that I know of AC and DC. And as far as measurements go a watt is a watt //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I found out that the amp has 45 x 4 watts of RMS Power. What the heck does that equal to in normal power watts.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

What are "normal Watts". A watt is a watt. 45w x 4 equals 45w x 4. You may be able to bridge the amp to two channels. Which would probably be like 90w x 2 . That's about it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
