Difference between US Acoustics USA2050h and USA2050

I'd like to find out if any of them are truly 2 ohm mono stable...........

The manual shows 4 ohm mono stable, 2 ohm stereo.

You see many post about folks running them at 2 ohm mono but it gets hot..........don't hear nothing else tho. I've searched google and seen many postings on them but never much after ....."yea I ran it 2 ohm mono".

Lol, not sure if that's bad or good.

I figured I'd send them an email see if anyone at zed audio be able to answer ....actually a couple questions lol. Actually the two brought up in the thread now.

Ive never tried to run mine @2ohm mono.Seemed like I had more than enough @4ohms mono to satisfy my hunger.I know that the BTS series are 2ohm mono stable,as the Mean Machine series are as well,But keeping the voltage up,and keeping the amp elevated with a fan serves well all day long, without missing a beat man.Ive never had any of my US Acoustics ever shut down on me beating them in the dirt all day long,or any of the other two mentioned.

I've picked up a few of the Stinger fans ...............lol with plans of running the pair of 2200's at 2 ohm mono.

Plenty to choose from atm but I want a couple of the 2300's in stock if need be .......

That is one **** AZZ collection sir!!! To keep them running cool,,I always elevate my sub amps on either all 4 corners,or just two,to get some air under them.Home Depot has some Chrome 1/4in x1 1/2,or 2inch hollow slick metal dowels that are cheap, and look very nice to use a 3in screw to mount the amps.Look pretty nice after done.I should send you a pic of my MMatts amp that I elevated in my Honda.Ill do that tomorrow when I get in,so you can see what Im talking about.I also have a Stinger/XS scroll fan in place as well:D

Thank you sir! Still waiting on your 6300 and another 4080 this week lol.

Yea I've got a pair of the 8" or so Stinger fans but I'll definitely look into the dowels. Another member turned me on to the sound absorbing .......I guess grommets?? Not sure what to call them off hand. It's late after a 20 hr day lol..........

I think those would elevate the amps a little and still absorb the vibration from the subs in the trunk. I thought about using those. It'll raise the amp a little off the board some maybe enough to allow the air to flow thru underneath, hopefully.

I'll find the link he sent for them.........

Ill send you a pic of my MMatts tomorrow. Its shelling out approx. 13-1500 rms @2ohms on a pair of old school USA\California made Audiobahn AW1008t 1k rms tens @32 htz in 4 cubes,Gets down nicely, and the amp runs cool, all day

I thought about the washers but thought about going up to Home Depot just to see what they have as far as grommets and such.

What that site had was cheap in price but you know how it is if I can secure something local for cheap as well might as well go that route lol.
