no. with 2 4 ohm dvc woofers you can wire them down to a 1 ohm load, whereas with 2 2 ohm dvc woofers you can only wire them down to 2 ohms... With those amps you want to achieve the 1 ohm load considering that is where their max power is. I still recommend one 2 ohm dvc 15 type r (assuming the 1206). With one 2ohm dvc then you can achieve that 1ohm load with only one driver... AKA sending all power of the amp to that one woofer.
If you get the 2006, then def get 2 alpine type r dual 4 ohm woofers... that would slam imo.
