Hello,

Since i have not been able to listen to the same driver in different size enclosures, i ask here.

Box #1 = 2.7 cft @ 32Hz

Box#2 = 3.5 cft @ 32Hz

Will box#1 have "tighter" bass / better transient response?

Will box#2 have "boomy" / sloppy response?

Will box#2 be able to nail lower frequencies a little better?

Sry, another question. What happens when you move the sub further away from the port?

Thank You

you're asking us to use box size to judge effect on something thats due to the interaction between the driver and the sub... without info on the sub this is, for the most part, unanswerable.

As a rule of thumb larger boxes will have more gain and a larger group delay than smaller boxes with the same tuning. a .7 cube difference like you're describing would probably have less influence than you think it does.

My question derrived from looking at the recent fiQ 15 enclosures.

Some go 3.5 cubes @ 32, and some go 2.7 cubes @ 32. I was wondering what the major sound diffrence here would be.

Thank You
