Can I really get 3500w-rms @ 1ohm...I read that this guy

save your money....lets just say the spec sheet was incomplete when I had a chance to look at them about a year ago...

If you are looking for an amplifier that will perform a Stetsom 4K2 would be more then what you need and some.

The titanium heatsink claim is pure bs. Titanium is terrible at conducting heat. Just about as bad as steel. An amp with a titanium heatsink would most likely fail as I doubt the titanium would wick the heat away from the output devices fast enough to keep them from failing from excessive heat. Aluminum is ten times more thermally conductive and cheaper. I'm guessing a true titanium amp would have to be very expensive and very unreliable.

saying that amp will out do the rockford 3000 watt amp is total bs. this is a cheaper company like pyramid.

I have never worked with that amp but if you are on a cheap budget and need 3000wrms look at an Audiopipe 3000d. You can get them for like $300-$330 Shipping might or might not be included depends.. They are rated @2ohms don't run them below that. If you google that ap3000 amp you can find some gut pictures and you will see it is pretty beefy. That is the best bang for your buck amp or should we say best watt per dollar. For a 3500Rms amp I would save up $100-$200 more dollars you wont find one new worth a crap and actually puts out rated.

Used is another thing though sometimes you can come across some nice amps for $400-$450 that actually put out rated power in the 3500rms range.

I saw a soundstream dtr1.3400 someone had asking $450 in for sale classifieds on this site I believe and they never had power to it so its basically new. They do 3400rms easy and you can run them at .5ohms. At .5ohms it does the rated power and yes you can run them daily at .5 they even have it listed on soundstreams spec list. I would maybe offer him $400 and see if he takes it.

Comparing those to a Sundown Audio SAZ-3500D at $1,075.00 new is a pretty good deal but the sundowns are built much better of course lol.

Another pretty cheap option is AQ3500D.1 for $749 shipped new it can be ran at .5 if you wanted.
