HU front outputs to lc6i as well as a tapped signal from 1 of the rears (for mono subwoofer). RCAs to eclipse 5 channel amp. Wired to 2 passive xovers, then out to ID CTX65cs drivers and tweets. Lc6i and amp are grounded to the same place. Everything works as far as power, etc. However, whenever I listen to a CD or music through a USB outlet, I get a hiss at higher volumes. hiss gets less and less as I turn it down, eventually disappearing. I get no hiss when listening to the radio at any volume. when listening to CD/USB, the hiss is there when the song is paused or when searching for the next song. Its is totally dependent on the volume. Ive turned the lc6i gain to 1/2 (the maximize light doesnt flicker until its almost maxed) and the amp gain to zero. That reduces the hiss but its still there whenever I turn it up to a good volume. Power is running down left side of truck, all speaker wires running down right side. lc6i and amp are on back wall and next to each other as well as the xovers (all on a board). Ive tried using different RCA cables (used monoprice RCAs at first, switched to a twisted pair, but dont think they are much better quality.
Any advice would be appreciated. thanks in advance.
