Did I wire it safely?

I went and ran the remote turn on wire to the radio fuse......but I'm not sure if it turns on when the car does and I only want it to turn on when the radio turns on.

I can't check it out right now caz my cars at my shop.

Why didn't you wire into the remote wire of your hu?

eh no. wire it to the remote lead of your head unit.

remote lead didnt have any power to it..... even checked it with a energy needle no power was thru it

He had a stock head unit last time so he doenst have a remote turn on most likely (might tho) unless he changed out for an aftermarket deck.. I doubt it turns on only when the radio is on tho. you will just have to check when you get it back, just check if the light on the amp turns off when you turn the radio off..
