did i pay too much for my DD?

Hey guys ive been hovering the classifieds every now and again, and always see dd's for low prices. I never bought from caco because i wanted to see and hear in person. The other day i found a DD2515 dual 2 for $200 on craigslist. It came with a box all for $255. The guy said it wasnt the proper box and i can get one thats a little bigger. I still bought it because it was louder than my L7 15s. He said it was the 2011 model. Idk how much these really go for though. so i was wondering if i got a decent deal? I even saw one go for $175 shipped here in caco which surprises me.

I looked into them a few months ago. A dealer in North Carolina was going to sell the 2512 for if I remember correctly 220, and the 1512 for 160

yea they are a bit over priced. and i have not been impressed by them yet. i know that they pretty much are the same sub but our team all run audio que and we out do everyone who has brung dd's to comp

A lot of people swear by dd and that's fine because they make great stuff. However, the performance iv seen from every sub they have is severely lacking considering the price. I could name off 20 subs that will outperform a dd 3512 in every way for the same money or less.

those seem more like the prices I have seen... expensive...

$200 sounds about right for a used 2500 series..

Thats what the gym quoted me over the phone. He was acting like nobody around his town bought them. I would of been a 5 hour drive so I didnt end up going. He offered to build me a box and install everything while I waited. I know he said the 1512 was 160 cause I was talking to the wife about getting 2. I talked to him on a Monday and told him if I come it will be the weekend, I asked him how many he had in stock and he said 4 and they will be there cause people dont know who they are. He said he sold T3 before but nobody bought them so he stopped

it was actually about $175-80 but the box was $80. However you wanna look at it i paid $255 total. probaly goin to resell the box so i can get a custom one...

Yea around here too. Mostly kicker though. There rf, audiobahn, jl, boston, pioneer, and planet audio. I think only one place has DD and thale guy that sold me the used one works there.

I would say its around here, its nice little drive.. The place where I get some work done is a big fancy JL dealer. they always have the lambos and big boats in their bay
