Did I get away with a steal?

I tested the stuff out before I bought it, it was still in his car. The dude was legit, needed money for other stuff. He said he had expired tags so he couldn't drive anywhere, and when I pulled in that was the first thing I checked. Of course I didn't go alone, and I was carrying some security. The dude really didn't know what He was talking about, and had definatly done some drugs in his life.

You will get very mean diffrent views of this.The one I had didnt help, but it was only 250 watts...

The cap that I have is a power acoustik and is 1200 watts, and 1.2 farads I believe, also has a digital reading on it.

i meant the amp was only 250 rms so i didnt need one either way...

K, got it, my amp is only like 400 watts...thats atleast what the guy said, but my lights still dim a little. How hard is the big 3 to do, I read the guide, jst want oppinions on it because it seems a little daunting.
