Did I fry my amp?

Well I installed a second battery and a Team RF 4hp wired to .7ohm and an orion 2500D can take .5 ohm load daily

My shit was banging for awhile but then all the sudden it stopped.

My sub just makes a popping noise

I trouble shot over and over... Everything

I tried several different grounds, jumped my remote wire, changed out my RCA's checked the ohm load.

Then i wired a different speaker that worked just fine to my amp and it just started making the same popping sound.. So to be extra sure i hooked my sub up to a different amplifier and it worked just fine

My amp still turns on but what ever i hook up to it just makes a popping noise and it does that on both channels

So i know for 100% it is not my subwoofer. Any ideas?

And this all ****ing happend right before my run at a competition that i drove over 100 miles to and already payed registration:crap:

I just noticed my amp is also making the ticking noise. And my amp and sub both tick in the same count

Next chance ya get dude, throw me a PM or get on AIM. Sounds like something went in the output section of the amp, either that or your RCA's are ****ed. What battery did you put in? Are you sure it's enough to properly support the amp at .7?

So, you didn't get to get it metered? That ****ing sucks. lmk tho

we had it all set up and working good... each voice coil was showing a 1.5 ohm ( 2 ohm) load.. so to be safe actually i wierd it up to 4 ohm....

after trouble shooting... ( rca's disconected, makeing shure the rem turn on wire wasnt shorted out ect... we still had the popping noise............ so i figured it was his outputs.....

thomas call cia and see if thay can repair that amp
